Opportunity and position information: Looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team in a family business going on 27 years strong. 

We are a favorite for so many people in Tampa and have customers that travel to us from all over the area. We pride ourselves on honesty and selling people what they truly need for their cars instead of a commission based atmosphere like the chain places. We are viewed as an old school, neighborhood shop because people come here and know who they will be dealing with every time but also investing back into the business to make sure we have all of the necessary tooling.

This position is for taking in/cashing out a customer if needed, handling a service ticket start to finish, ordering the parts for your job, and seeing it through to the end with the customer on the same page. We are a busy shop (140 cars per week) so it can be fast paced but we try to maintain a healthy environment. You will be 1 of 3 Service Writers over 10 Techs in the shop, so the work load is evenly shared.

We are looking for someone who can talk to a customer and explain the issues with their car and why they need to repair it. I will explain our pricing once on board but we are expecting you to understand what is involved in each job so you understand the correct labor hours and what additional charges are involved in completing each repair. We are not looking to micro manage you. We want to trust you.
