Seeking an energetic, reliable and motivated individual with automotive writer/estimator experience to join our team. The Auto Body Service Estimator is responsible for service sales and gross profit, and for proper handling of clients. The Writer influences the volume of business and plays a key role in insuring customer satisfaction. Requirements/Skills & Experience
• Experience in estimating collision damage on automobiles and light trucks
• Working knowledge of CCC-1
• Current I-CAR status
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills
• Ability to work on a deadline and independently without close supervision.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Outgoing and patient personality with outstanding customer relations ability
• Professional personal appearance

Responsibilities
- Conduct auto body repair estimates using auto estimating software.
- Communicate with customers to explain repair estimates and answer any questions.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to accurately diagnose automotive issues.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process.
- Utilize sales skills to upsell additional services when appropriate.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, repairs, and customer information.
- Collaborate with the auto service management team to optimize repair processes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication.
- Utilize computer skills to input and track repair information accurately.
